Gratification that the Jewish Friendly Societies of Great Britain have decided to cooperate in the Palestine upbuilding work was expressed by Lord Melchett. The Friendly Societies, which have a total membership of 50,000, tendered a reception to Sir Wyndham Deeds. In his address Sir Wyndham outlined the aims and purposes of the Jewish National Home Lord Melchelt’s letter expressing his gratification at the action of the Friendly Societies was read at the reception.
