Graz Police Averts Anti-semitic Riots at Shakespearean Play

Whan night have amounted to serious anti-Jewish excesses was prevented by the intervention of the police at Graz.

The disturbances started during a Shakespearean performance in the municipal theatre. A crowd of anti-Semitic students interrupted the performance with outeries against the Jewish director, Marholm. The students attempted to arrange a street demonstration following the performance. The police dispersed the demonstrants.
