The Israeli consul here has received assurances from the Greek War Ministry that Greek Jews whose age groups have recently been called up for service with the armed forces will be permitted to migrate to Israel if they choose, it was learned here today.
Meanwhile, it was also revealed that the director of the Greek Air Ministry will visit Tel Aviv next month to negotiate and sign an air convention with the Jewish state. A trade pact between the two nations is expected to follow the signing of the air convention.
