A hand grenade with a timing device was found on a bus in the Central Bus Terminal here this morning and safely dismantled minutes before it was set to explode. The bus had just arrived from the Judaea and Ramallah region with 14 passengers when the driver noticed a suspicious looking object attached to a spare wheel at the rear of the vehicle and summoned police. Bomb squad experts found the device wrapped in nylon. Police searched the terminal area and are conducting investigations at the nine towns where the bus stopped enroute to Tel Aviv. The bus was carrying workers from the West Bank.

Two Arab infiltrators were killed yesterday near Ellaboun village in Upper Galilee in a clash with an Israeli border police patrol and Army patrols. The Israeli units were searching for a gang of four terrorists known to have entered Israel from Lebanon. Weapons and other items found on the bodies indicated that the infiltrators were on an intelligence and organizing mission. The other two were believed to have gone into hiding.
