Israel Foreign Minister Golda Meir was among the prominent Israeli and American personalities who addressed groundbreaking ceremonies here today for the Louis Segal Educational Center to be built by the Farband-Labor Zionist Order in honor of the late general secretary of the organization. Mr. Segal died in June 1964.
When completed, the Center will house the Kinneret Jewish Day School and the A. Liesin Jewish Folk School, two of the Farband educational institutions. Plans are being developed for making the new structure a center for Jewish artistic expression in various fields.
