Thirty Jews sailed for Palestine Monday to settle in the country aboard the Steamer Sinai of the Fabre line.
Among those who sailed were: Dr. and Mrs. Henry Wolf, New York; Dr. C. Greenwald and a sister from Chicago; J. Menken and Max Feinstein of Jersey City; J. Sokolow of the Bronx; Mrs. Rose Rotberg of Brooklyn; Mr. and Mrs. Jacob H. Shapiro and son, Hyman, of Milwaukee.
More people are sailing for Palestine to settle in the country as tourists than formerly, according to A. Rosen of the Palestine and Oriental Tours Company. A large group will sail on the Mauretania for Palestine on February 20th, when that steamer makes its first direct trip to Palestine. Two hundred reservations have already been received.
