Grove of Trees to Be Planted in Palestine in Honor of Ramath Hakovesh Settler

A grove of trees in honor of Shmuel Wolynetz, Polish-born Jew who was fatally wounded during the raid on the settlement of Ramath Hakovesh on Nov. 16 will shortly be planted in Palestine, it was announced today by the Jewish National Fund. The grove will symbolize the Palestine Jewish community’s appreciation of the “pioneer heroism” of the Ramath Hakovesh settlers, the announcement said.

It is reported here today that 600 Polish-Jewish refugees, including 150 children, recently arrived in India from Teheran.
