At a farewell ceremony here for Leon Gellman, president of the American Mizrachi Organization, who is returning to the United States, Dr. Abraham Granovsky, managing director of the Jewish National Fund announced that three groves of trees will be planted shortly with funds raised by the religious department of the JNF in the U.S.
The colonies will honor Rabbi Wolf Gold, Palestine Mizrachi leader; Rabbi B.D. Levinthal, dean of Orthodox rabbis in the U.S. and the late Dr. Bernard Revel, former president of Yeshiva College in New York. Mr. Gellman praised the activities of the JNF and expressed gratification that it has received the cooperation of all sections of the Zionist movement.
