Mrs. Helen Friedman, sister of Dov Gruner, left today by air for Palestine, where she will appeal for clemency to High Commissioner Cunningham and Lieut. Gen. Sir Evelyn Barker, British military commander in Palestine.
She will also appeal to her brother to sign an appeal to the Privy Council. Before leaving, Mrs. Friedman issued a statement in which she expressed confidence that “the sense of fair play and justice inherent in the British people will be on my side.”
