Israel’s Habimah theater troupe arrived here today for a series of performances which will be a feature of the 1965 International Drama Festival, an annual event in which troupes of international fame participate.
This year, Habimah shares the honor with the French and American troupes. The Israeli players will open on April 26 with The Dybbuk. There will be six evening performances and three matinees, all of them of The Dybbuk at the request of the Festival’s sponsors.
The 35 Israeli actors and actresses were greeted at the airport by representatives of the Israeli Embassy and of the Aldwych Theater where they will perform.
