Hadassah’s preventive medicine services in the Jerusalem Corridor will shortly be transferred to the Ministry of Health, according to an agreement between Hadassah and the Government, it was reported today.
The arrangement will free Hadassah’s staff and funds to concentrate on the constantly expanding needs of health services in the city of Jerusalem as well as at the Hadassah-Hebrew University Hospital now nearing completion in Ein Karem near Jerusalem.
Hadassah undertook to continue contributing to the budget of the Jerusalem Corridor health services for a one-and-a-half year transitory period.
