The annual dinner of the Hadoar, the only Hebrew weekly newspaper published in the United States, was held here this evening with prominent scholars and patrons of Hebrew language and literature participating. Guest of honor at the dinner was Rabbi Edward T. Sandrow, spiritual leader of Temple Beth El, Cedarhurst, N.Y. Dr. Sandrow was cited for a quarter of a century of dedicated services for Jewish education. Hebrew scholarship and leadership in other Jewish cause.
Boris Margolin, president of the Hadoar Association, presided at the dinner, Among those taking part in the program were Dr. Samuel M. Blumenfeld, director of the Department of Culture and Education of the Jewish Agency, and Dr. Judah Nadich, spiritual leader of the Park Avenue Synagogue.
