The harbor works at Haifa Bay are proceeding rapidly it was officially reported today. About 50,000 cubic metres of earth have already been deposited on the breakwater which is now 350 metres out from the shore. Calm water conditions are beginning to prevail and a number of vessels are taking advantage of this. Works at the Athlit quarries are in full swing and 1,000 tons of stone are being produced daily.
