The Haifa-Lydda rail line was blasted south of Hadera early this morning. A freight train which was passing when the landmine was detonated was not damaged, although the track was ripped up.
A second, unexploded tine, was discovered later when the police inspected the scene of the ambush. Footprints from the scene were tracked to the Jordanian border.
