West German trade unions turned over $857,143 to Haifa University today to be used by the institution for grants and fellowships. The money was raised by the Fritz Naphtali Fund which is financed by the trade unions. Mr. Naphtali, a former minister in the Israeli government, was born in Germany and came to Palestine shortly after Hitler took power.
