(Jewish Daily Bu letin)
Hakoah defeated a Michigan all-star soccer eleven at the University of Detroit Stadium yesterday by 2 goals to none.
It was a fast exhibition throughout, the vistors being superior in the initial period when Schwartz and Wortmann tallied.
In the second half Michigan maintained a steady offensive, gaining four corners in succession, but Fabian was brilliant and unbeatable, saving the side time and again by clever interception. Michigan kept the ball in the vistors’ territory for the major portion of the closing stages, Hakoah’s defense being hard pressed to avert a score.
