E. Haldeman-Julius, publisher of the nationally known “Little Blue Books,” was discovered dead last night in a swimming pool at his home here. He was 62 years old. Born Emanuel Julius, he added the Haldeman to his surname in 1916 after his marriage to Marcet Haldeman, a writer and actress. He published more than 2,500 books and was selling about 100,000,000 volumes per year, most of them for as little as five cents a copy.
