The “rainy” season drought has already caused the loss of about half of the country’s total winter crops, according to estimates made by experts today. The monetary damage is expected to run between 40, 000, 000 and 50, 000, 000 Israeli pounds ($22, 000,000 to $27, 500, 000, 000).
