The Associated Jewish Philanthropies has already collected $302,211, passing its half-way mark in the 1933-34 campaign at the end of its first week of active solicitation. Fifteen hundred volunteer workers are combing the various districts throughout the city for the support of the eighteen institutions and agencies which comprise the Jewish Community Chest here. The campaign is headed by Sidney Rabinovitz. Louis Kirstein is president of the organization and Dr. Ben Selekman, executive director.
