Hamas gunmen wounded an Israeli outside Gaza. The middle-aged electrical technician was moderately wounded Monday after being shot as he worked at the Karni Crossing on the Gaza Strip border. Hamas’ military wing claimed responsibility for the shooting, the first such act of violence since the governing Palestinian Authority faction entered a coalition with the more moderate Fatah over the weekend. In another Palestinian attack, at least three rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel, causing no casualties.
