Hamas said it could suspend attacks if Israel withdraws from the West Bank, Gaza Strip and eastern Jerusalem. “We can accept to establish our independent state on the area occupied” in 1967, the Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud al-Zahar, told CNN on Sunday. “Give us one or two, 10, 15 years time in order to see what is the real intention of Israel after that.”
