Hanan Rubin, a deputy speaker of the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament, and a member of the House since 1949, died today at the age of 54.
Born in Germany, Mr. Rubin settled in Palestine in 1933 and became active in the Hashomer Hatzair, the Mapam youth movement, and, after the establishment of the State, he became a Mapam Knesset member. He had been a delegate to a member of the World Zionist Congresses.
