Blood was shed again today in Gaza when a hand grenade aimed at an Israeli civilian car missed and exploded in the street injuring four local residents including two children. None of the occupants in the car were injured. Security forces started an investigation.
Meanwhile, security statistics released yesterday recorded 11 incidents along Israel’s border, during the week that ended Jan. 22. Six occurred on the Syrian border, three in Gaza, one along the Jordan River and one within the administered territories. The Lebanese and Egyptian borders were quiet.
