Handicapped Israelis demanding improved benefits asked President Bush to help their cause. In a letter presented to the U.S. ambassador to Israel, Dan Kurtzer, strike organizers asked that Bush raise their case during his meeting later this week with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz.
