Israel’s Ambassador to Washington, Avraham Harman, appeared before the foreign affairs and security committee of the Knesset (Parliament) today, reporting about the current relations between Israel and the United States, He is scheduled also to report on the same subject to the next meeting of the Cabinet, next Sunday.
Both Mr. Harman and Michael S. Comay, Israel’s permanent representative to the United Nations, were summoned here last week for high-level discussions with Foreign Minister Golda Meir and other top members of the Government. Mr. Comay left for New York yesterday.
