Four Jewish students were graduated from Hamilton College, two with Phi Beta Kappa keys. They are Harold Bengloff, Harold Fehrer, Leonard Vincent Strully and Monroe Messinger.
The highest award, the Elihu Root scholarship, which entitles the recipient to a year of graduate study in any university in America or abroad, was awarded to Bengloff, who will attend Harvard Medical School.
