Haverhill Jews will be organized into a Kehillah, as a result of preliminary steps taken last week at a meeting in the Beth Jacob synagogue which was attended by leaders of the Jewish community. The Kehillah plans to federate the religious, educational, welfare and fraternal organizations of Haverhill Jewry. Rabbi Alfred H. Kahn, who called the meeting, was elected temporary chairman, and Sarah Lissman was named secretary.
