The secretary of the Budapest Italian Institute, Dr. George Kreilisheim, a Jew, has been dismissed without notice in connection with Italy’s anti-Semitic policy, it was learned today.
Dr. Kreilisheim has instituted suit to recover salary due him in lieu of the proper dismissal notice, contending he served the institute loyally for the past three years and the Hungarian law does not recognize religious and racial grounds as reason for discharge without notice.
