J. Hagerty, head of the United States aid mission in this country, will leave for Washington Saturday for consultations over increasingly tense relations between himself and the Israel Finance Ministry.
Israeli circles here assert privately that Mr. Hagerty is trying to exercise too much influence over Israel’s use of American aid. American circles state that Mr. Hagerty is merely sticking to Washington directives and instructions.
