The breach in the National Socialist party which began before the parliamentary crisis and was completed with the dissolution of parliament by Chancellor Bruening has been healed pending the new parliamentary elections in the Fall. In the meantime the party is forming a united front throughout the country. At National Socialist mass meetings in Mannheim and Heidelberg it was suggested that a new German racial party be formed.
The National Socialist party was split into factions, one headed by Adolph Hitler, anti-Semitic leader, and Dr. Alfred Hugenberg and the other by Count Westarp. The party itself has a number of anti-Semitic planks. For a while before the breach was healed the Westarp and Hitler groups were extremely bitter at each other.
