Heavy pressure is being brought to bear on Labor Party secretary general Meir Zarmi to reconsider his decision to resign from that post which he announced last week. It remains to be seen whether Zarmi will change his mind, but the urgings that he continue in office are coming from the highest levels of the party leadership and its kibbutz movement.
