A Hebrew dramatic youth group seeking to carry on the tradition of the Habimah and create a permanent Hebrew theatre in the United States will give its New York premiere with Shalom Aleichem’s “Amchah” on Feb. 13. The group is called “Pargod” (The Curtain) and is sponsored by the Hebrew Youth Cultural Federation, which claims 400 members, Ben-Ari, formerly of the Habimah, is director, aided by Reuben Leaf.
