The strike of Hebrew teachers throughout the land was today postponed until after succoth,
three weeks hence, following a promise of mediation given by the Histadruth, General Federation of Labor, and the Mizrachi, orthodox Zionist organization, both of which have numerous schools in Palestine.
The teachers were to go on strike for higher wages yesterday after the Vaad Leumi, Jewish national council in Palestine, declared lack of funds prevented it from meeting their demands.
