A sensational report by a Palestine news bureau that the students of the Hebrew University had threatened to strike if no agricultural college is established by the University board was branded here today by the students’ organization of the university as false.
“We condemn the sensationalizing of our meeting,” the organization of the students of the Hebrew University stated.
The board of the Hebrew University today declared that the failure to open an agricultural college at the university is not caused by the lack of funds. The board admitted that the students are dissatisfied with the postponement of the opening of such a college.
