Dr. Louis I. Newman, rabbi of Congregation Rodeph Sholom here will deliver the principal address at exercises tomorrow marking the opening of the fall term at the New York school of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. The ceremony will take the form of a morning service in the chapel of the Liberal Jewish seminary.
Dr. Nelson Glueck, president of the College-Institute, which has a rabbinic school in Cincinnati as well as New York, will welcome the entering class. The Hebrew Union School of Education and Sacred Music, a department of the College-Institute, also will open for the fall term tomorrow.
