Free access to Hebrew University buildings on Mt. Scopus in Jerusalem was discussed today by Israel Ambassador Eliahu Elath, Assistant Secretary of State George C. McGhee, and Dr. Werner Senator, executive vice-president of the board of trustees of Hebrew University.
Dr. Senator called at the State Department with Ambassador Elath to urge adherence by Transjordan to a section of the Rhodes armistice agreement in which Transjordan promised Israel access to university buildings on Mt. Scopus. Results of the talks were not made known.
