After being closed for a period of one year, during which the institution suffered great human, scientific and material damage, the Hebrew University reopened today in rented premises in Terra Sancta.
The ceremonies also marked the award of degrees to 48 students, several of the awards being made posthumously. Many outstanding guests attended the ceremonies, including dignitaries of the Catholic Church.
