By the will of Dr. Benedict Weissman, which was filed on Monday in the Surrogate’s Court in Brooklyn, $150,000 will be donated to the Benedict Weissman Foundation for medical students in the Hebrew University in Palestine. According to the will, this foundation offers “financial assistance through a system of loans for poor and worthy students of any sex, race or creed pursuing their studies in the Medical School of the Hebrew University in Palestine.”
