The Henrietta Szold annual awards made by the Tel Aviv Municipal Council in memory of the late American woman Zionist leader and founder of the Hadassah Organization, were presented today for outstanding contributions in the field of science.
The awards went to Prof. A. Sadowsky, for two works on women’s diseases; Dr. A. Weinberg for work in the field of psycho-sociology; and to Dr. Sarah Bawly and Dr. G. Cydrovitz Jointly, for their study of the nutrition problems of urban populations. Dr. M. Cohen, Deputy Mayor of Tel Aviv, in making the awards, paid tribute to Miss Szold.
