Henry Morgenthau, Jr., publisher of “The American Agriculturist.” was designated by Governor Franklin D. Roosevelt as chairman of an unofficial commission to undertake a study of agricultural problems confronting the industry in New York state.

Four Legislators, the Commissioner of Agriculture and Markets, and a number of men identified with agriculture or the dairy industry, have been invited to accept membership on the commission headed by Mr. Morgenthau, Jr.
