Henshel to Study Jewish Welfare Board’s Operations Abroad

Col. Harry D. Henshel, chairman of the Armed Service Committee of the National Jewish Welfare Board, departed today on a European mission, approved by the Department of Defense, to confer with Jewish military personnel and Jewish chaplains in Germany, France and England on JWB’s religious, morale and welfare services in behalf of Jewish GI’s. Col. Henshel, who heads the United States Committee for Sports in Israel, will make the tour en route home from the Fourth International Maccabiah in Tel Aviv.
