“Your Honr, if I was called Mr. Rolls Royce I wouldn’t mind. But to be called Henry Ford, and me, the janitor of a synagogue – no sah!” Thus said Henry Mathews. Negro, when arraigned in court on an assault charge because he resented being called Henry Ford, according to a story in the New York World.
