The council of the Herut Party voted today to send message of encouragement to members of the Brith Trumpeldor (Betar), right-wing youth movement, who have been arrested in recent weeks in connection with an alleged conspiracy to destroy reparations goods arriving here from Germany.

Menahem Beigin, leader of the party, warned the council today that any attempt to outlaw the Brith Trumpeldor would result in “severe consequences.”
