Herut members of the Knesset today issued a statement denying a report published abroad which alleged that a split has occurred in the ranks of the Freedom Party resulting in the resignations of two Herut deputies from Knesset committees.
A new settlement was established today in the western Negev in memory of Abraham Stern, founder of the Stern Group. The colony, “Neve Yair,” located on Jewish National Fund land, is made up chiefly of youthful members of the Fighters Party.
