The Central Bureau of Statistics reported Monday that 47,000 persons were unemployed as of September and the number of jobless is growing. According to projections, the number of unemployed may reach 70,000 in 1977. The government is expected to take measures to stem the tide during the election year by easing up on anti-inflation programs.
