Hezbollah terrorists based in Lebanon reportedly plotted during the late 1990s to blow up American and Israeli ships in Singapore. Hezbollah operatives had planned to load a small boat with explosives and use it to bomb ships in the harbor or in nearby waters, according to a newspaper in Singapore, The Straits Times.
