A resolution recommending continued investigation to discover new immigration possibilities for Jews was adopted today at the closing session of a conference under the auspices of the HICEM, comprising the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society of New York and the Jewish Colonization Association.

The conference warned against irresponsible initiative in seeking settlement possibilities for Jews. The emigration experts decided in another resolution to afford special protection to Jewish women refugees.

In the closing address of the meeting, Samuel Telsey of New York, vice-president of the HIAS, praised the HICEM for its service in the past ten years. He paid tribute to France for aiding refugees.
