All questions concerning the Holy Sites or other religious places in Palestine, or the religious communities in Palestine, can not be heard or determined by the courts of Palestine, according to an Order in Council, which was published here last Friday.
A special commission to determine matters of that kind will be created, and until the time that this commission is ready to function, all such matters will be referred to the High Commissioner of Palestine, who will decide them after consultation with the British Government. The decision of the High Commissioner will be final and binding on all parties.
This Order in Council does not affect the jurisdiction of the local religious courts.
