The German Lawyers Association today demanded the suspension of Supreme Court Judge Oskar Haidinger pending an investigation to determine whether he was ever a member of the Nazi Party or presided at any Nazi tribunals. The demand was sent to Federal Minister of Justice A. Jahn, M. Schieler, Minister of Justice for Baden-Wuerttenberg and to the procurer of the high court in Karlsruhe. The Lawyers Committee also demanded an investigation of Paul Paulsen, a lawyer who allegedly covered up for Judge Haidinger.
