Three directors have just been appointed for the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundations at the University of Alabama, Northwestern University and the University of Illinois. The selection was made by the National Hillel Commission, headed by Alfred M. Cohen, president.
Rabbi Samuel Cook is to be the head of the newly organized Foundation at the University of Alabama. Rabbi Martin Weitz will take charge of the Foundation at Northwestern and Rabbi Morris Kertzer will serve as assistant director of the Foundation at the University of Illinois.
